Areas

The ';Boston Metropolitan Area'; covers a huge area of Boston and it%26#39;s suburbs, even extending to NH, so that designation of a place to stay is of no help to you. If ';Eastside'; means ';East Boston'; that would not be a good area for you either. In fact that%26#39;s where the airport is and the only hotels in that area I can think of are near the airport. ';Eastside'; is not a term we use here.

The general downtown area of Boston is not that big, so anywhere you stay there is OK. Areas such as the Back Bay (includes Copley Square), Downtown, Financial District, North End, Waterfront, South End, Beacon Hill, are all centrally located and would be fine. I%26#39;m personally partial to the Back Bay area because there are a lot of stores, restauraunts, attractions there and it is very walkable and convenient by public transportation to all areas of the city

This was posted in reply to ';Boston area'; from ';linselmann';, but I hit the ';Post a New Topic'; button by mistake instead of the reply button, so it appears here separately. Sorry.
