My wife %26amp; I will be staying at the Hilton hotel in Woburn Ma in July, and we have tickets for the Red Sox. My question is: What is the best mode of transportation to the ballpark. I have heard that parking costs are in the $45.00 range. Is their a T station nearby we can connect to that will take us to the game? would a cab ride be cheaper than the parking?

Thank you..

The $45 prices only come out during big games....playoffs, some yankee games, etc....and only at some of the private lots. Parking near the park is usually about $25.00 but the biggest headache is the traffic leaving the park.

You can find cheaper lots at the Prudential Center ($15 with ticket stub) or $10 at the Boston Common Garage if it%26#39;s a night game....you can then walk or take the T from those locals.

When you figure parking for the T, T fare, etc for 2, it%26#39;s been my experience that the Common Garage or Prudential Center is cheaper/easier......you can sometimes even find meters on the street if the timing is right.
