Boston to Cape

We are staying in Cambridge on Fri%26amp;Sat night and checking out Sun to go to Cape. Do we need to rent a car to get to Cape or are there other options. We didnt know whether we should rent a car at airport and drive to Cambridge. Once we get to Cambridge how do we get around. Going to Fenway Park on Friday night.

Thanks

What are you planning to do when you%26#39;re in Cambridge?? Are you near a subway station??

Boston to Cape

Alanm-we are just staying in Cambridge. someone got us the room there. We are planning on doing the Duck Tour and another trolley tour and then doing the Cape.

Thanks for any help

I was hoping you would be more specific on where you are staying so we would know whether you would be able to take the subway.

I%26#39;ll have to assume you can, which means NOT getting the rental car in Cambridge until you are ready to leave, as parking is as difficult (and expensive) there as it is in Boston. You%26#39;ll be able to use the subway for both Fenway Park and to get to the Prudential Center or Museum of Science for the Duck Tour (you MIGHT even be able to walk to the Museum of Science, depending on where in Cambridge you are staying).

You DO really need the car for the Cape, so you may as well drive down there yourself. It takes about an hour and a half to get to the beginning of the Cape and another hour and a half to go to the further reaches.
