Martha's Vineyard or Not

Been reading all the excellent post about MV on the forum and I need some advice. We will be in Mass Memorial day weekend and are trying to decide if a ';Day'; trip to MV should be worked into our schedule. We plan on driving to P-Town to see that end of the cape and have 2 days in which to do something. I had thought a day trip to MV might be worth doing so I would appreciate some input about going there vs seeing other places on the cape. It is our first trip up to the cape code area and we only have 4 days total so I thought 1 Day MV with the night spent in Hyannis, 1 Day and night P-town and 1 Day and night Warwick/Newport RI.

Any suggestions or recommended changes this late in the game?

Personally, if I had only a couple of days on the Cape I wouldn%26#39;t bother with the Vineyard. Too much to see on the Cape alone in that time.

I hope you already have hotel reservations, as that weekend is very busy as it kicks-off the summer season. It is usually particularly difficult to get one-night reservations, as many places have minimum stays. If you didn%26#39;t yet make them, you may have to adapt your plans, anyway.
