I was thinking about brining my husband to this dinner show in June. Has anyone heard anything positive/negative about it? Apparently, it has been updated recently with a new show and looks to be pretty fun. At $40 per ticket, I want to be sure it%26#39;s worth it before going. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Medieval Manor Theatre-Restaurant on East BerkeleyI haven%26#39;t been in a few years, but basically it%26#39;s a cheesy show with cafeteria grade food. It%26#39;s best to go with a large group of people, and drink a lot.
Medieval Manor Theatre-Restaurant on East BerkeleyHi,
FYI, a review just appeared for this place, here on TA. It didn%26#39;t sound too promising.
I went years ago and would not go back. Food was lousy, show was mildly amusing. I have not heard anything recently that makes me think it has improved.
massnewbie,
looks like you need an alternative plan. this is an idea that I can%26#39;t take credit for because a post-er asked a question about it earlier this week, but... how about a nice dinner in the North End and then the late show at the Improv Asylum on Hanover? The show is hilarious(much funnier than that medieval manor tomfoolery) and how can you go wrong in the North End? improvasylum.com.
Healey04, so funny you wrote this. After reading a couple posts about the Medival thing, I looked around some more and decided to do dinner at La Summa and a 10:00 p.m. show at Improv Asylum. Thanks for your suggestion. I just love this Forum!
Glad you found another option... I%26#39;ve heard terrible things about Medieval Manor. One friend was almost kicked out because he went the bathroom without the ';king%26#39;s'; permission!
