We are driving into Boston Friday 5/18 for my son%26#39;s wedding. The Marriott offers parking for $41 a day which turns into a lot of money since there are probably 5 different sets of people heading down by car and we will be in town until Sunday afternoon. I read another thread and you all were so knowledgable that I thought I would ask for advice. Is there a place near enough to make sense that would save us some money?
I am so grateful for any advice you can offer. Thanks
weekend parking near Marriott Copley Place???HELP
The Boston Common Underground Garage has $10 weekend and evening rates. So you would pay $30 all together. Even the day rate of $25 isn%26#39;t bad by Boston standards, so if you wanted to come in early Friday to play, you wouldn%26#39;t have to worry. It%26#39;s about a 10 or 15 minute walk to the Marriott. The entrance is on the Charles Street side of the Common across from the Public Garden.

weekend parking near Marriott Copley Place???HELP
A bit closer might be the garage at Back Bay Station, across from the Niemann Marcus, at the other end of the Copley Place mall from the Marriott. And a block further in that direction (just beyond the Copley Plaza hotel) is the garage under the 500 Boylston office building, which has cheap(er) evening and weekend rates (out by 9). I haven%26#39;t parked in the first one. The second one I know is very civilized.
The Back Bay Garage, aka 500 Boylston Street Garage, has a weekend rate of $20 a day - double the Boston Common Garage rate.
