Best time for trip - late May-early june or early Sept.

I hope to visit CapeCod again next year and would like to know which time is better to visit . The time I visited before was the first week in May and I would probably choose one of the times listed above. Also is the bus line from Logan Airport good to come into Hyannnis%26gt;? I am going to have to rent a car after I arrive but adding a flight to the cape is a lot of expense. Thanks

I think everybody will agree that the Sepember date is better: The weather is likely to be warmer, the ocean temperature for sure will be warmer, and everything is still open, but the crowds are gone.

If you%26#39;re going to stay on the Cape, you need a car anyway. You may as well rent it there and drive down. It%26#39;s less than two hours to Hyannis. There is a bus from the airport as well.

Alanm has given you great advice. Rent a car in Boston, drive the 2 hours to the Cape and come in September.

We prefer early September too. We like June as well because of the longer daylight hours. Other people on this forum have suggested flying in to Providence, RI instead of Boston. Same driving distance to the Cape but easier than from Logan.

The Providence idea is brilliant!

We got caught in Cape traffic this past weekend---Rt. 3 was clogged for miles. We were nowhere near the Cape but the weekend effect was huge.
