Fenway Seats - Sec 22, Row 16 -- Good??

Are the following seats, Grand Stand behind home plate, marked or considered ';obstructed view'; -- Section 22, Row 16, Seats 18 %26amp; 19. I have an opportunity to buy, and the seller claims that there are no obstructions. (I have not seen these actual tickets yet. )

However, others tell me that Sec 22 tickets are marked ';obstructed.'; Please help!

Thanks!!

These are not considered ';obstructed view'; although you will have trouble seeing a fly ball in the air, (roof extends into your line of sight) but you will see the entire field. Your view of the outfield scoreboard is also obstructed...Row 16 is the last row, and more than likely there will be standing right behind you in the standing room section.....

For a realistic view from your section.....only Seat 1 is obstructed in your section.

that%26#39;s a fenway seating chart. if you roll over section 22..it will give you an actual pic of the view from that section...i think obstructed view here means you%26#39;re behind the backstop net.

going to fenway my first time on June 30! Enjoy your trip!

That fenwaydata site is awesome, thanks for sharing!

Yes Fenway Data is a great sight for Grandstand sections.....convenient how the Red Sox website never shows you ANY poles or overhangs in their pictures.....they%26#39;ve magically disappeared.

Thanks to everyone who replied for the valuable info and web links!!! :)

accurate info above. you will be looking through the foul ball screen . Obstructed seats in that section and row are numbers 1 and 2. You%26#39;ll be fine. I would advise you get hard copy of the tickets rather than print at home...
