I%26#39;m taking the family to the Cape and I enjoy reading on the beach. Are there any stories that you can reccommend that are set on Cape Cod?

Try Philip Craig%26#39;s books which are set in Martha%26#39;s Vineyard. You might also like Gladys Taber%26#39;s accounts of her life on the Cape. You should be able to get them in local bookshops. '; That Quail Robert'; by Margaret Stanger is a lovely story, also by an author who lived on the Cape. You could also try Henry David Thoreau%26#39;s ';Cape Cod'; written in the 1800s. A classic and very entertaining.

You might also enjoy ';Christmas Days,'; one of my favorite books by Joseph C. Lincoln, which will give you a feel for Cape life back in the late 19th century.
