We are taking a group of 7 to the Pops and would like to get dinner before the performance. We will be a little crunched for time so a location within a fairly short walk to Symphony Hall would be needed. Any ideas? Thanks!
Restaurants in Symphony area
On the opposite corner of Huntington Avenue (at Mass. Ave), there%26#39;s a wonderful noodle restaurant that%26#39;s delicious, fast, and reasonable. Betty%26#39;s Wok and Noodle.

Theres a Pizzeria Uno on Hunington Ave 2 minutes away from Symphony Hall.
Symphony is really pretty close to the Prudential, about a city block or two, maybe a 5-10m walk.
On the corner of Huntington and Dalton St, you have the Cheesecake Factory (not my personal favorite, but quite popular and good for groups.)
You also have the newly opened PF Changs for delicious Chinese/Asian food.
Inside the Pru, you also have Legal Seafood.
Be sure to make reservations if you try any of these...that way you%26#39;ll be sure to make the Pops without rushing.
Brasserie Jo is in the Collonade Hotel right down the street. The food is good, the atmosphere is upbeat, and it is not horribly expensive.
When I go to the Symphony, I usually go to Tiger Lily, which is a Malayasian/Polynesian restaurant on Westland Ave., just behind Symphony Hall.
The food is quite tasty, the drinks are fun (as usual for a Polynesian place) and the prices are very reasonable.
If that doesn%26#39;t strike your fancy, Brasserie Jo is a great suggestion too. A bit more upscale and a bit pricier, but very good food and atmosphere.
another vote for Brasserie Jo, elegant and good food
Personally i would try a restaurant thats unique to Boston, not a chain and I would recommend:
Symphony Sushi just because they are so delicious.
Toro in the south end very good
