Never been to boston help

No, it%26#39;s not super hot at the end of June, although it can be, it%26#39;ll be just right for you hopefully. I used to take that last week in June off all the time because it%26#39;s usually so nice! It%26#39;s been raining like crazy here for days right now. Just like England and Ireland here! We aren%26#39;t getting a Spring season as much as we used to, as we seem to go right in to hot summer weather now more and more.

You%26#39;ll enjoy Boston without a car, trust me. Rent the wheels when you leave downtown Boston. Where it%26#39;s your first time, you should think about staying at either the Omni Parker House on Boston%26#39;s Tremont St. at the foot of Beacon Hill and within walking distance to the Quincy Market. It would be a great area to get to SO many attractions. Try to get reservations for the Duck Tour if you can, it%26#39;s a beautiful time of year to take it! No matter what age either! We%26#39;re all still kids at heart. It%26#39;s a great way to tour the City, you%26#39;ll really like it a lot. In fact, make that the first tour you take for the day by booking it with your concierge at the Hotel as soon as you get here.

So much to see in Boston! You%26#39;ll have the MBTA right around the corner from this Hotel which you can take to get to the Back Bay area of Boston, which has Copley Place, the Pru shops and Newbury St. as well as Boylston St., with tons of neat shops, cafes and such. Are you in to Museums at all? If you get the chance, you should try to get over to the Metropolitan Museum of Fine Art in the Fenway AND for a fact try to get to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, especially this time of year, everything will be hopefully still in bloom for you at the end of June.

The public is SO lucky to have a chance to view the art collection that resides within Isabella Stewart Gardner鈥檚 former home. The collection offers works by artists, such as Botticelli, Raphael, Matisse, as well as Whistler. It%26#39;s really something to see, I hope you can get there.

Here%26#39;s the site to see what I mean:

ALSO the Museum of Fine Arts site:

After your few days in Boston, rent the car and drive down to Cape Cod to Chatham, MA. See if you can get reservations at the Hawthorne Motel located at 196 Shore Rd. if you go in to this site you%26#39;ll see how convenient it would be if you stayed here:

www.thehawthorne.com

www.chathamlodging.com has quite a lot of great places to stay at. It%26#39;s up to you and what you%26#39;re willing to spend on a place.

Remember, it%26#39;s always a little less during the week to stay at any of these motels in the summer months and you%26#39;re getting here right when the rates change and go up for the summer. Weekend rates are always a little more no matter where you decide to stay. This would be about the only thing that you%26#39;d have to consider when you plan this trip.

Look for the Starfish Bass River Cruises located at 109 Main St. in West Dennis. It%26#39;s one of the best little cruises I%26#39;ve ever taken, it%26#39;s really well worth it. Give them a call at 508 362-5555. See if you can try to do this when you%26#39;re on the Cape.

Here%26#39;s one last place that you might like to stay at instead of at that motel in Chatham, beside you can still drive down to see the town of Chatham while you%26#39;re here, this particular place is in Dennis:

www.lighthouseinn.com

Good luck and have a wonderful time no matter where you stay there. Keep checking back here from time to time, I%26#39;m sure there%26#39;ll be other ideas and suggestions for you.

It%26#39;s a beautiful time of year to be on Cape Cod as it%26#39;s right before all the crowds get there on the 4th of July.

If you love the water, the Long Wharf Marriott would be a great spot. Right on the water with the Aquarium and Harbor Cruises right outside the front door. There is an MBTA subway stop right there and you are only minutes by foot from Faniuel Hall Market and the North End (Paul Revere House, Old North Church and some of the best Italian dining outside of Italy). There are several sightseeing trolleys on Long Wharf as well.

Bring your walking shoes!!
