Plymouth MA Hotel

We are visiting Plymouth the end of May. Our hotel/motel choices are Cold Water Best Western and the Radisson. The kids are wanting to swim. Is it too cool for the out door pool this time of year in Plymouth? We prefer the Best Western , but are concerned about the pool situation. The Radisson has an indoor pool.

The weather this week is in the low to middle 80%26#39;s (the later part of the week). Definitely warm enough during the day, but the weather here can change quickly. The Cold Water Best Western is nicer, in my opinion.

Ask if the pool is heated. Today it%26#39;s chilly here. You never really know. A heated pool is really a benefit.

We just visited Plymouth in early April and stayed at the Radisson. I tend to be pretty picky about hotels, and I, as well as the rest of my family, LOVED the Radisson. When we first pulled up outside, I was surprised to see that the outside was done in vinyl siding, but later I realized that it was probably in keeping with the architectural style of Plymouth, since all of the other buildings are either wood or vinyl siding. A hotel covered in stucco, as many of them are nowadays, would have looked odd and out of place. We walked all over the place, because this hotel is in a great, safe, central location. There are several quaint shops and nice restaurants right outside and across the street.

As far as the interior, the lobby was very, very attractive, elegant really, and exceptionally clean. We booked our room through Priceline, and we still got a wonderful corner room that was very quiet, had a sitting area with a sofa next to the sleeping area, and had sleep number beds. The pool area was also terrific, clean, and well-maintained. The only complaint that I had for the entire six days that we were there was that the dryer in the guest laundry didn%26#39;t work right. Other than that, this Radisson was one of the best, if not THE best, three star hotels that we have ever stayed in. If we are ever in Plymouth again, we will definitely be staying there.

We stayed at the John Carver Inn they have a cool themed pool and a web site . Staff was great and there is a Hearth %26amp; Kettle resturant there too. www.johncarverinn.com The room was ok on a scale of 1 to 10 I%26#39;d give it a 81/2 but I%26#39;m picky about clean. The kids had fun and the location was great
