Has anybody experienced the following, and what are your views ?

1. The Boston Dinner Cruise ( Odyssey)

2. Cape Cod Fast Ferry to Provincetown.

3. Wrentham Village.

Our holiday is fast approaching (May) and forward planning seems to be essential - there%26#39;s so much to see !

My girl friend and I went on the Boston Dinner Cruise the beginning

of May 07. Had a very good time. The ship was as advertised , very sleek and well maintained. The crew and wait staff were excellent, very much into making sure you were happy. Drinks were a little slow and a bit pricey but very good. We did not pick up on it when we ordered tickets that it was a buffet meal but were very pleased as the food was very good, pasta, fish, chicken, ham, beef, all the sides. All very good. The cheese cake dessert was just awesome.

The cruise itself was very relaxed and calm. The view was great, make sure you go up on the top deck a few times (before and after dark). Entertainment was singing and dancing and a DJ.

All in all a very relaxing night out. Again I would complement the crew and wait staff as they made us feel very welcome on board.

Generally, there is a live band and a sit-down dinner on the Odyssey. The Spirit of Boston Dinner Cruise is usually a DJ and a buffet. Is it possible we%26#39;re getting them confused??

The Odyssey, sounds more to our liking.

Wrentham Village is great. I go a lot myself . To get there, you have to rent a car or take one of the bus trips. It%26#39;s a little over an hour (depending on traffic/time of day) from Boston. You can get great deals on good stuff. Avoid it on weekends and/or holidays when it can be so crowded it%26#39;s unpleasant. Best time to go: midweek. If you go, visit their web site and join their VIP club. That (or membership in AAA) will get you a free coupon book, which is worth it if you%26#39;re buying any amount of stuff.

That said, do you really want to spend a day of your trip shopping? I don%26#39;t know. If your%26#39;e a real shopper, then...it%26#39;s a great outlet mall, but not everyone would think it%26#39;s worth it to go that far just to go shopping.

If you get the chance to go on the Odyssey%26#39;s Boston Dinner Cruise then GO because it%26#39;s well worth it. You%26#39;re going to experience a beautiful evening on Boston Harbor, one that you%26#39;ll never forget. The staff that work on this fabulous boat are SO terrific to deal with. The cuisine is just wonderful and the entertainment is great. I%26#39;ve been on this boat now twice; once for the Dinner Cruise and another time for a friend%26#39;s wedding that was JUST awesome on this boat. One of the best best weddings I%26#39;ve ever been to too! I couldn%26#39;t see how or why any one could complain about it and believe me no one did! It%26#39;s nothing but top top shelf *all the way* with this company that runs the Odyssey, in my book!

I hope you have a wonderful time whatever you decide on, it%26#39;s certainly a beautiful time of year to visit Boston no matter what you end up doing!
