Tweeter center for concert...where to stay?....how to travel
The Tweeter Center is located in Mansfield Ma -
Go to www.livenation.com This website will give you some choices of hotels if you want to stay near that area . I would imagine you would either need to rent a car if you plan to stay in Mansfield or arrange for a limo to take you to Tweeter (the area does have a special parking for Limos that allow for better exit ) and then stay in Boston . Depending on the time of leaving Boston you could hit traffic so the time would greatly change - without traffic probably about 50 minutes to an hour - but you do also have to figure in the time it will take to get into the area which could take more time as well .
Not sure of your departure date Is it the same night as the concert?
Tweeter center for concert...where to stay?....how to travel
sorry...my 1st post wasn%26#39;t clear...we plan to arrive on July 26th..concert is on July 27th.....and leave on July 28th....
so I guess to stay in Boston would work but some time should be allowed to get back and forth
Check out Foxboro for places to stay--there are a couple Marriots and is should only be about 5 miles or so to the concert.
There are a few hotels in Mansfield right on Rt. 140 only a few miles from the Tweeter Center.
would we be better off to stay in Boston and commute to concert and do some other things or vice versa?.....thx
I noticed that this concert is in the afternoon - sort of unusual for this venue - thus that is why most suggestions would be to stay in the area close to the Tweeter - since the traffic in and out of the place can be time consuming too
Is this concert suppose to be a sellout and how long is the concert
This might give the forum a better idea .
Also what time are you departing the next day ?
Are you renting a car? or planning to hire a limo for the drive?
The good thing is the time of your concert will help with the traffic issue - if later on a Friday it could be a problem .
not sure if is sellout or not...am assuming it will be....
not leaving until early afternoon the next day...
and am not sure how we are going to get to the concert....am open to suggestions....
sounds like you are not going to have much time to do much besides the day long concert so you may as well stay out that way. there are decent motels around - exit 17 off 495 in Franklin has a Hawthorne SUites this is not bad. You def need a car though. you could book a limo to/fro concert but there is no public trans out that way for simple things like eating out
you flying in/out of logan?
unless you want to stay in boston, use public trans there and get a limo for the concert. that will be more the more expensive option though for sure
If you are flying into Logan in Boston you are going to have to pay for transport out to Mansfield either way whether it be when you arrive to the hotel or if you wait till the concert. Either way the expense for transportation can not be avoided so I think stay where ever you want. There is obviously more to do/see in Boston.
Are you flying in and back to Canada - or driving??
