Advance booking

I%26#39;m preplanning a September trip to Salem and am currently looking for places to stay. One of the shortlisted places is the Salem Waterfront Hotel.

How far in advance does this place fill up, reservation wise? Should I book now, just in case, then cancel if need be, or would it be better to wait until I%26#39;m sure?

Thx!

Advance booking

September is a perfect time to visit salem in my opinion - the real touristy summer season is over, Halloween is still a month away, and the weather is still nice. October is the busy time because of the Halloween craziness. I%26#39;m not familiar with that hotel, but I think if you are sure of your dates and that you want to stay there, you can never go wrong booking in advance - as you said you can always cancel to be on the safe side. As long as the hotel is near the waterfront or the historical center you should be fine.

Advance booking

September is well into the busy season for Salem. The Salem Waterfront Hotel has a 3 day cancellation policy, so as long as you cancel at least 3 days before you are supposed to arrive they won%26#39;t charge you. So book early and be safe!
