Trip to Cambridge

Hi All,

I am planning to visit Cambridge on this weekend, but found that most of the colleges are closed due to exam preperation leaves.

could anyone suggest me will it be worth going there? What are the places to visit. Thanks in advance!!

It seems that you will be here anyway, so of course it makes sense to visit the schools, to see how they are situated, to view where they are located and get a ';feel'; for them. The campuses will be open and you can certainly roam around and see what you like or don%26#39;t like. My bet is that you can still arrange tours, too. I hope you do that right now.

If Harvard is one of your choices, that%26#39;s a great area to visit even as a tourist. Harvard Square, particularly at night, has street musicians and is abuzz with activity. I%26#39;m sure you know enough to visit Harvard Yard and see Harvard%26#39;s ';old'; part of campus.

You can get to Harvard Square from Downtown on the ';T'; Red Line subway.
