Parking in Boston

hi,

I%26#39;m driving into Boston on the night of Memorial Day, and I was wondering what kind of parking options are around the following area: 12 Hemenway Street; 02115. That is the address of the hostel, but I need to know how much to allot for parking from Monday night to Wednesday early morning.

What is the general cost for overnight parking in the city? And what areas should I avoid parking in?

Thank you!!

Parking in Boston

Generally, overnight parking costs anywhere from $25-$35/day. You should ask the hostel for garages close by, and which ones might offer a discount. Luckily, the Red Sox are on the road, or you%26#39;d be out of luck.

Parking in Boston

The cheapest garage in Boston is the Boston Common Garage. Unfortunately, it%26#39;s a bit of a walk to Hemenway Street. However, the rates are cheap if you move the car by 10am each morning. Go to bostoncitylinks.com/boston_commongarage.html for all the info. Once you park you could easily hop on the Green Line Letter E train at Park Street and take it to the Northeastern stop. Hemenway Street is a couple of blocks away. Sounds like a lot of work, but you could save yourself $40-$50. Go to mbta.com for all subway and public transport info.

Healey,

Just inquisitive, but where would you think they could move their car to?? Wouldn%26#39;t they have to park it somewhere anyway??
