Omni Parker House, Boston

Has anyone ever stayed in a junior suite at the Omni Parker House in Boston?

Five of my girlfriends and I (6 total) are staying in 2 junior suites rooms. According to the hotel, they are between 520 to 600 sq. ft., and most have 2 double beds and sofa beds.

Any comments please? Are the rooms going to be big enough for 3 people?

Thanks in advance for your help in this matter!

Sorry to be ignorant, but I%26#39;m not quite sure what you mean.

All I want is a comment from someone who has actually stayed in a junior suite at the Omni Parker House.

If you type in Omni Parker House in the search bar right above all the posts you will get tons of posts that people have already posted regarding this topic. An easy way to get answers to questions that have already been asked without waiting!

I guess I was just being impatient. It took awhile to find what I was looking for, but I finally did!

So thank you both to Mahj and Annikasaunt for your suggestion.

If a family of 5 was satisfied with 1 junior suite, myy 5 friends and I will definitely be happier with 2 junior suites!

Gotta love Trip Advisor!

Thanks again for your help!

The Junior Suites are spacious and beautiful. The bathrooms are compact, but immaculate and well stocked. Many of the Junior Suites are on the back side of the hotel which directly faces a new construction site, so if you have early morning noise issues, it could be wise to book through the hotel directly (617-227-8600) and find out the details. Who knows? You may be able to get a lower rate on these suites. This is a very service oriented hotel and the reservationist will be upfront and honest about any such issues. Also it`s a good idea to join the Omni Select Guest Program (omnihotels.com/800-FOROMNI) which has nice benefits including room upgrades when available, morning newspaper and hot and cold morning beverages delivered to your room at your specified time, late check out, turn down service, etc. It`s free to join.

I forgot to mention that not all the Junior Suites have a sofa bed, so make sure about that detail when reserving.

Hi guindad!

Thanks for the helpful response! I really appreciate.

I am already on the Select Program. My husband and I stayed at the Omni Berkshire in NY in March, and found out about that.

I did book the rooms directly with the hotel, and requested both of our junior suites to have sofa beds. Although they cannot guarantee, I am hoping that we get our sofa beds.

Thanks again!

I discussed this recently in a post. I%26#39;d call them again a few days before. Then ask again on check in. Take the squeaky wheel approach, without being a pain.

They didn%26#39;t give us sofa bed, but offered to move us or give us a rollaway. We took the rollaway and it worked fine.

The buzz is that many of the rooms at the OPH are small. Looking at our suite, we decided that our Junior suite was formed by taking the common wall down between two small rooms. One bathroom was left as the bathroom for the suite and the other bathroom became the closet.

There was ample square footage.

To me the term ';suite'; connotes two rooms (or more) but their Junior Suite is simply the square footage of two small rooms in one big room. (Hope that makes sense.)

I think you%26#39;ll do fine, even if you decided to take a rollaway for each suite instead of the sofa bed. My choice would be to avoid a room nar the construction.

Thanks MicheleS for taking the time to give me your input. I truly appreciate it! Gotta love Trip Advisor!!!
