Any tips for us? Regarding eats, transportation, shows, clubs, cheap BJ/Craps tables, and the best buffet with CRABLEGS (my favorite food!)....
Thank you in advance! = )
Our 1st trip to Biloxi! We're staying at the IP 10/15- 10/18Hi there...we%26#39;ve stayed 3 or 4 times at the IP, but this year got a great rate at the Palace so stayed there.
The area is still trying to find some normalcy, but we sure haven%26#39;t had much luck the last couple of trips.
We ate supper at the Palace since we had free meals, and it was ok (similar to the Main Street if you%26#39;ve tried theirs before)
The next morning, we went over to Harrah%26#39;s and had enough points to take care of our meals...and it was the same as the other Harrah%26#39;s properties (kind of like McDonalds...you always know what to expect)
Mr. Ducky plays mostly Pai Gow and think they had a few $5 but more were $10 tables that I remember seeing.
It has become a 1 or 2 night stop for us heading home to KS from our daughter%26#39;s, so we kind of do the same routine.
Our 1st trip to Biloxi! We're staying at the IP 10/15- 10/18The Hard rock had $5 BJ tables. Also the Hard Rock has a Mcdonalds, Waffle House, and a Gas Station across the street. The Grand only had $10 BJ. The Hard Rock also had a $4.99 Wed Morning buffet.
Great crablegs at the Beau Rivage Buffet on Friday nights.
Go to Beau Rivage, IP and HardRock websites, all have great clubs and are good times!!!
Gave a great trip. We will be there this weekend for Crusin the Coast. And are also staying at IP.
Would 2nd the buffet at the Beau....crab legs and an immense selection of other foods.
We also enjoyed the buffet at IP.
The casino hopper is a great way to get around to the casinos and would recommend the Hard Rock for entertainment.
No doubt best food in Biloxi Casinos is at the Beau, others not even close!
We like to stay at the Beau and eat at restaurants and buffet there; but have also tried IP buffet.....good food also.
Check the websites of the various casinos for entertainment possibilities during your dates there:
Hard Rock Casino
Beau Rivage
IP
Island View (Gulfport)
Grand Biloxi
Isle of Capri (not sure about their entertainment events potential...haven%26#39;t heard much from them)
These are the casinos that usually have most of the entertainment in that area. I know Beau has a neat bar just as you enter the casino floor on the right...usually has bands of a night...check that site. The Beau and Hard Rock have alot of headliners.
Again.....and I%26#39;ll quit after this:
The best food on the Coast in our opinion is at Look Out 49 restaurant in Gulfport on Hwy. 49 about a mile or two North of I-10 intersection on left. There is a Look Out 49 website on the restaurant.
It has WONDERFUL cajun cooking and seafood dishes....sluuuurp....wish I was there right now. It%26#39;s a very unassuming white with blue trim building. The food is FABULOUS there.....very quaint and woodsy looking on the inside.
