Two days in Boston

Hi,

In Boston for a convention in July. Went to college there but still have sights to see. I%26#39;ll have about two free days total in between conference events, mostly during daytime. I would like to check out the Freedom Trail, MFA, JFK Museum and the Mansion with the art. I%26#39;ve seen Quincy Hall, Harvard Sq., Public Gardens, etc. Anything else I should try to see that is T accessible? Maybe something not usually found in the guidebooks? Corresponding eating places would be good too! Thanks!

So many great things to do in the city. The Freedom Trail is definitely a great staple to check out. Catch a Sox game or a tour of Fenway if you can.

For a different type of experience, check out Boston Movie Tours which shows the Boston made famous from Good Will Hunting, The Departed and other flicks. A great nighttime tour is the Ghosts and Gravestones tour on the haunted trolley.

Take a ride on the swan boats and stroll through the Public Garden. There is also a new Institute of Contemporary Art iun the Seaport District. And lastly, take a cruise of Boston Harbor is you want to see Boston from the ocean.

If you like museums, you might like to see the Glass Flowers exhibit at the Harvard Natural History Museum. It%26#39;s really an amazing collection. There%26#39;s nothing else like it in the world. When you see them in person, it%26#39;s just impossible to believe that they are made of glass.

The Fogg Art Museum at Harvard is also very nice, and has a great collection.

Thanks for the good suggestions!
