Thanks to TA - Had a great trip

My wife and i returned on Sunday from a 4 day stay in Boston and wanted to say thank you for the advice we received on this board.

We stayed at the Omni Parker House and it was great. It is in a fabulous location. If you want some ambiance it is a real neat place, not steel and plastic. We had a tour of the hotel and were able to get into a wedding reception being set up on the 15th floor, Charles Dickens%26#39; Room and some of the meeting rooms. We also were lucky enough to see the arrivals for a grad, what a sight!

We toured Fenway, Sam Adams, US Constitution, Harvard, walked the Freedom Trail, Boston Commons and Garden, Beacon Hill, went whale watching, took a train to Salem and rode the ferry back. We ate Regina%26#39;s, Union Oyster bar, The Black Rose, Yuma%26#39;s Mexican and many more.

The T was great although I think the Charlie Card is a figment of someones imagination! We were never able to get one from any attendant. It is a great system for getting around. We spent about $32.00 in total in four days including getting to and from the airport.

The only thing I would skip next time is Salem as we are not that much into Witches but needed something to do on our last day that would not take too long.

Thanks to TA - Had a great trip

You sure did a lot while visiting! I would recommend any one of our wonderful museums as an additional activity in the city as well as a visit to the theater - we have many to choose from.
